More about Carma Drivers Ltd
At Carma Drivers, we are not academics engaged in theory, nor are we traditional driving instructors teaching basic skills. What we do is create a space where drivers can reflect on themselves the “real” person behind the wheel. A space that is completely non-judgemental, because meaningful change does not come from blame or shame. It comes from awareness. Most drivers already know how to drive. What determines outcomes on the road is not skill, but choice.
In our workshops, we explore behaviour — not to label it as right or wrong, but to understand where it comes from. We look at how easily control can be handed over to others: a provocation, a moment of irritation, a perceived poor driver. These same patterns appear far beyond driving, shaping how we
respond in everyday life, work, and relationships.
Learning at Carma is peer-based and experiential. We use short films and real-world scenarios to prompt reflection and discussion, not instruction. Participants are encouraged to share insights, challenge assumptions, and support one another. This approach consistently proves more powerful than being told what to do - because people change more deeply when they discover things for themselves.
Behavioural awareness matters. Addressing the underlying reasons for how we drive has the potential to save lives, careers, families, and financial resources. Most drivers instinctively change their behaviour when a marked police car appears. This tells us something important: the issue is rarely ability. It’s awareness and decision-making in the moment. Over years of work, I have seen how a single moment of poor judgement can have profound and lasting consequences.
